Title: Induction Operator
Description: We are looking for an Induction Operator for one of our NW Oklahoma City Clients. The position requires someone with determination, diligence, flexibility, initiative, orderliness, self- control, thoroughness and truthfulness.
Job Summary: The Induction operators are multi-functional groups that are responsible for manufacturing and assembling various parts. Operations include inductions welding, brazing, washing, assembling, lapping of parts. Each part is quality tested and inspected to verify its meets all specifications from the order.
Shift: First shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Third shift, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am Monday through Thursday. Friday is an overtime day of 5-12 hours. Working hours are subject to change and the candidate must be able to be flexible on hours worked.
Essential Job Functions:
General machine operations and adjustments. Receiving and pulling parts for work orders, verifying quality and washing parts if necessary. Identify and tag incoming and finished parts. Braze or use induction machines to assemble parts. Perform quality checks on finished parts. Wash finished parts. Mix compound for lapping process. Operate a sandblaster. Use stenciling equipment. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and or Human Resources. Participate in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must pass a background check and drug screen. Must also have steel-toed boots.
